| 2009-12-14: | Starting in the New Year, the VCC will have 2 leagues starting their new sessions. The Sunday Recreation League will begin a new session starting January 3rd at 12:30pm-2:30pm. This session will consist of 6 weeks of instruction and game play. Enter as a team or individual, and cost is $40 per person. Please call the VCC office to register. The Monday Morning AM Open League will be starting on January 4th at 9:30am-11:30am. This league is for the person that is free in the morning, would like to get some exercise to start the week, and operates with an open format. You can enter as a team or individually and we will form a team around you. To register please call Eileen DeFoe 250-479-4115 or the VCC office. Cost is $70 per person. |

| 2009-11-12: | The Victoria Curling Performance Centre and the VCC will be hosting a "Try Curling" day on Sunday Nov.22 from 1-4pm. This drop in session is free and is aimed to give the new curler an introduction to curling. There will be world class coaches on site for lessons for all ages. No equipment required! There will be no practice ice available this day for regualr club members. |

| 2009-09-14: | The ice surface is getting ready, just in time for the Icebreaker Open on Friday September 18, 2009. Check out some photos of the crew helping paint the rings. It takes about 10+ days to get the ice ready and we thank everyone involved. Practice ice will be available the week following the Icebreaker. |
